In addition to entertaining audiences all over the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, Fire & Ice also competes in a regional quartet contest held in Winston-Salem, NC every year.  In 2007 they were thrilled to take the 5th place medal among a very experienced field of quartets from a four-state region.

Fire & Ice shares their talent and love of music with others as well. Denise often coaches young singers through programs offered by the Barbershop Harmony Society and at Harmony College. Bettina, Joyce and Denise are all musical leaders in their chorus. Virginia Coast, while Jamie contributes her administrative talents as the chorus Finance Manager.

Family life also plays an important role for this group and their proud husbands form the nucleus of the Fire & Ice Fan Club.  Singing in a very active quartet would not be possible without the support and encouragement provided by four great guys who often do double duty as Mr. Moms, technical consultants, music critics and more.  It really takes a team effort to get this show on the road!

Fire & Ice have performed at many kinds of events including music festivals, corporate events, non-profit fundraisers and private parties.  You can even find them delivering Singing Valentines and other Singing Telegrams for special days and holidays throughout the year.  They love meeting new people, going new places and most of all, sharing the great sounds of a cappella harmony.
